About RIZATRIPTAN

Composition
Rizatriptan 10 mg. Excipients: lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, pregelatinised starch, magnesium stearate.
Indications
Acute treatment of migraine headache with or without aura.
Pharmacological properties
Selective agonist at human 5-HT1B and 5-HT1D receptors; causes cranial vasoconstriction and inhibits neuropeptide release.
