About ЦИДЕЛОН
ЦИДЕЛОН is a combined medicinal product for local use in ophthalmology. The preparation has pronounced antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, and anti-allergic effects.
Composition
1 ml of the solution contains the active substances: 2.5 mg of zinc sulfate and 0.2 mg of decamethoxin. Excipients include sodium chloride, methylcellulose, and purified water.
Indications
The product is prescribed for the treatment of inflammatory diseases of the anterior segment of the eye caused by microbes, in particular keratitis and keratoconjunctivitis. The preparation is also used to eliminate inflammatory reactions of the conjunctiva that occur after surgical interventions.
Pharmacological properties
Zinc sulfate provides an antiseptic, astringent, and drying effect. Decamethoxin exhibits a broad spectrum of antimicrobial action against many types of cocci, bacteria, fungi of the genus Candida, chlamydia, and viruses.
The preparation slowly promotes the formation of resistance in microorganisms and enhances the effect of other antimicrobial agents in complex treatment. The pharmacokinetics of the medicinal product has not been studied to date.
