Dolutegravir sodium is an integrase inhibitor that blocks the integration of viral DNA into the host cell's genome. Abacavir sulfate is a nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NRTI) that inhibits the reverse transcription of viral RNA into DNA. Lamivudine is also an NRTI that inhibits the replication of HIV-1 virus by blocking the reverse transcription of viral RNA into DNA.
Important Notes
TRIUMEQ should be used under the guidance of a healthcare professional. It is essential to follow the prescribed dosage and treatment regimen to achieve optimal results. Patients with a history of hypersensitivity reactions to Abacavir or other NRTIs should not use TRIUMEQ. Regular monitoring of viral load and CD4 cell count is recommended to assess the effectiveness of treatment.
