About Vevizye
Vevizye is a prescription-only medication that should be started and supervised by an ophthalmologist (eye specialist).

Vevizye is used to treat dry eye disease, a condition where either not enough tear fluid is produced or abnormalities in the tear fluid cause it to dry out too quickly.
How it is used
Vevizye is available as eye drops, with one drop applied to each eye twice daily.

The active substance in Vevizye, ciclosporin, reduces the activity of cells of the immune system that are involved in inflammation, which is expected to reduce inflammation of the cornea and improve symptoms of the disease.
