About OTULFI
OTULFI is a prescription medication containing the active ingredient USTEKINUMAB, a human interleukin-12/23 monoclonal antibody. It is used to treat moderate to severe plaque psoriasis in adults and children 6 years of age and older, and to treat active psoriatic arthritis in adults.

Active Ingredient & Action
USTEKINUMAB works by binding to the shared p40 subunit of interleukin-12 (IL-12) and interleukin-23 (IL-23), preventing their interaction with their receptors on the surface of immune cells. This action reduces the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines, which are involved in the inflammation and immune response associated with psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis.
