Active Ingredient & Action

The active components of LACTATED RINGER'S IRRIGATION SOL are sodium chloride 600 mg, sodium lactate 310 mg, potassium chloride 30 mg, and calcium chloride 20 mg per 100 mL. Sodium chloride supplies essential sodium ions for osmotic balance, sodium lactate is metabolized to bicarbonate to help correct metabolic acidosis, potassium chloride maintains cellular potassium levels, and calcium chloride supports normal muscle and nerve function.
