ЛЕМТРАДА is a prescription medication containing the active ingredient Alemtuzumab, a monoclonal antibody used in the treatment of multiple sclerosis (MS) and certain types of leukemia. It works by targeting and destroying immune cells that are attacking the body's own tissues.

Active Ingredient & Action

Alemtuzumab, the active ingredient in ЛЕМТРАДА, is a recombinant DNA-derived humanized monoclonal antibody that selectively binds to the CD52 antigen, a protein present on the surface of mature lymphocytes. By binding to CD52, Alemtuzumab triggers the destruction of these immune cells, thereby reducing inflammation and slowing disease progression in MS and CLL patients.
