Composition

Indications
The use of the preparation is indicated for sensory disorders resulting from diabetic polyneuropathy.
Pharmacological Properties
Тіоктова кислота is involved in the regulation of carbohydrate and lipid metabolism, and also affects cholesterol metabolism. It helps lower blood glucose levels and increases glycogen accumulation in the liver. Due to its hepatoprotective and antioxidant action, the preparation improves liver function.
A deficiency or metabolic disorder of this substance caused by intoxications or the accumulation of breakdown products (for example, ketone bodies) leads to disorders of aerobic glycolysis.
