How it works
The active substance in Corlentor, ivabradine, works by blocking the 'If currents' in the sinus node, the 'pacemaker' for the heart that controls the heart's contractions and regulates the heart rate. This lowers the heart rate, reducing the heart's workload and the need for oxygenated blood.
