Vaxneuvance is a vaccine against pneumococcal disease, intended for the prevention of invasive diseases and pneumonia caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae.
Composition
The vaccine contains a 15-valent pneumococcal polysaccharide conjugated to the carrier protein CRM197. The carrier protein is produced by recombinant expression in Pseudomonas fluorescens.
Adsorbed on aluminum phosphate adjuvant. The vaccine composition contains approximately 125 mcg of aluminum and approximately 30 mcg of the carrier protein CRM197.
Indications
The Vaxneuvance vaccine is indicated for active immunization of children and adolescents from 6 weeks to 18 years of age, as well as individuals 18 years of age and older.
The use of the vaccine should be carried out in accordance with official recommendations.

The vaccine elicits an immune response against pneumococcal disease, providing protection against invasive diseases and pneumonia.
