Хаврикс is an immunobiological product designed for active immunization against hepatitis A virus. The vaccine helps to develop specific protection in individuals who belong to risk groups for infection.
Indications
The product is recommended for immunization of people who are in areas with low or moderate virus prevalence but have an increased risk of infection. The main risk groups include travelers who visit regions with high endemicity (Africa, Asia, Mediterranean countries, Middle East, Central and South America).
Vaccination is also indicated for military personnel traveling to regions with unsatisfactory sanitary conditions or high infection prevalence.
Pharmacological properties
The vaccine provides protection exclusively against hepatitis A virus. It does not prevent liver diseases caused by other pathogens, including hepatitis B, C, E viruses or other pathogens.
