About ТОПЕКС
ТОПЕКС is a medicinal product used for the therapy of a number of mental disorders. The preparation is released in the form of tablets with different content of the active substance.
Composition
The active component of the preparation is escitalopram. One tablet can contain 12.77 mg of escitalopram oxalate (equivalent to 10 mg of escitalopram) or 25.54 mg of escitalopram oxalate (equivalent to 20 mg of escitalopram).
Auxiliary substances include microcrystalline cellulose, talc, sodium croscarmellose, colloidal anhydrous silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, titanium dioxide (E 171), and polyethylene glycol 6000 (macrogol 6000).
Indications
The preparation is prescribed for the treatment of major depressive episodes and panic disorders, which may be accompanied by agoraphobia or occur without it. The agent is also effective in social anxiety disorders (social phobia), generalized anxiety disorders, and obsessive-compulsive disorders.
