About СТУГЕРОН
СТУГЕРОН contains the active substance cinnarizine. This medication is used to treat various disorders related to circulatory disturbances.
Composition
СТУГЕРОН contains cinnarizine in the amount of 25 mg, as well as auxiliary substances: colloidal anhydrous silicon dioxide, potato starch, magnesium stearate, povidone, talc, corn starch, lactose monohydrate.
Indications
СТУГЕРОН is used for the symptomatic treatment of cerebrovascular disorders, including dizziness, tinnitus, headache of vascular origin, irritability, memory loss, and inability to concentrate. The medication is also used for the prevention of migraine, treatment of peripheral vascular disorders, and labyrinthine disorders.
Pharmacological properties
Cinnarizine suppresses the contraction of vascular smooth muscle cells by blocking calcium channels. This leads to a decrease in vasoconstriction without affecting arterial pressure and heart rate. Cinnarizine also improves microcirculation and increases cellular resistance to hypoxia.
