About SLIPDOX
SLIPDOX is a medicinal product containing the active ingredient doxylamine succinate. It belongs to the ethanolamine class and is used as a hypnotic agent. SLIPDOX has a sedative and anticholinergic effect, which helps to reduce the time it takes to fall asleep and increase the duration and quality of sleep.
Composition
One SLIPDOX tablet contains 15 mg of doxylamine succinate. The product also contains excipients: lactose, croscarmellose sodium, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, and a "Cele Coat™" coating, which consists of hypromellose, polyethylene glycol (macrogol) 6000, and titanium dioxide (E 171).
Indications
SLIPDOX is intended for the treatment of occasional insomnia in adults. It helps to improve sleep quality and reduce the time it takes to fall asleep.
Pharmacological properties
Doxylamine succinate is well absorbed from the digestive tract. The maximum plasma concentration is reached 2 hours after taking the tablets. The average plasma half-life is approximately 10 hours. Doxylamine succinate undergoes biotransformation in the liver.
