Composition
The active substance of the medicinal product contains 20 mg of miconazole nitrate per 1 g of cream. Excipients: propylene glycol, macrogol 400, poloxamer, macrogol cetostearyl ether, cetostearyl alcohol.
Indications
The medicinal product is used for the treatment of fungal infections of the skin and nails caused by dermatophytes or fungi of the genus Candida that are sensitive to miconazole.
Pharmacological properties
Miconazole nitrate inhibits the biosynthesis of ergosterol and alters the lipid composition of the membrane, which leads to the death of the fungal cell. The medicinal product also has an antibacterial effect against Gram-positive bacteria.
