About Глюконал

Глюконал is a medicinal product containing calcium gluconate. It is intended for the treatment of conditions accompanied by hypocalcemia and impaired nerve impulse conduction in muscle tissue.

Composition

Глюконал contains the active ingredient calcium gluconate and excipients: potato starch, talc, and calcium stearate.

Indications

Глюконал is used for hypocalcemia, increased cell membrane permeability, impaired nerve impulse conduction in muscle tissue, hypoparathyroidism, vitamin D metabolism disorders, hyperphosphatemia in patients with chronic renal failure, and other conditions.

Pharmacological properties

Calcium ions are involved in the transmission of nerve impulses, contraction of smooth and skeletal muscles, myocardial function, blood clotting processes, and bone tissue formation.
