About ФІТОЦИСТОЛ

ФІТОЦИСТОЛ is a medicinal preparation of plant origin, released in the form of a decoction. The preparation has pronounced antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, and diuretic effects.

Composition

The active ingredient of the preparation is bilberry leaf (500 mg in 1 g of decoction). Additionally, the composition includes meadowsweet herb (200 mg), hawthorn berries (200 mg), and plantain herb (100 mg).

Indications

The preparation is used in combination with other treatments for acute and chronic conditions. In urology, the drug is effective for cystitis, urethritis, and prostatitis. It is also used in gynecology (for nonspecific vaginitis and vulvitis) and proctology (for proctitis, colitis, anal fissures, and inflammation of hemorrhoidal nodes).

Pharmacological Properties

The preparation shows antimicrobial activity against a wide range of microorganisms, including intestinal and blue-green bacilli, staphylococcus, proteus, and others. In addition to its antimicrobial effect, the preparation provides anti-inflammatory and astringent action.
