About ХЛОРГЕКСИДИН-ФАРМЕКС
ХЛОРГЕКСИДИН-ФАРМЕКС is an antiseptic medicinal product whose active ingredient is chlorhexidine. The preparation is available in the form of sachets.
Composition
Each sachet contains chlorhexidine digluconate (20% solution), which corresponds to 16 mg of chlorhexidine. The excipient in the composition is polyethylene oxide.
Indications
The preparation is used for the prevention of venereal diseases such as syphilis, gonorrhea, trichomoniasis, chlamydia, and ureaplasmosis. It is also used to prevent infection‑inflammatory complications in obstetrics and gynecology before surgeries, childbirth, abortions, insertion of an intrauterine device, or diathermocoagulation of the cervix.
Additionally, the product is prescribed for the treatment of bacterial vaginosis, colpitis, and cervical erosion.
