About UNIFLUX

UNIFLUX is a medicinal product with pronounced bactericidal action, belonging to the group of fluoroquinolones. The preparation contains ofloxacin, which provides a broad spectrum of antimicrobial activity against many pathogenic microorganisms.

Composition

The active ingredient of the preparation is ofloxacin. In 1 ml of the solution, there is 3 mg of this substance. Auxiliary components include sodium dihydrogen phosphate decahydrate, sodium hydrogen phosphate dihydrate, benzalkonium chloride, and injection water.

Indications

In ophthalmology, the preparation is used to treat bacterial infections of the anterior segment of the eye, including conjunctivitis, keratitis, blepharitis, stye, hordeolum, and corneal ulcers. The drug is also used for the prevention of infections following eye injuries, preparation for surgery, and after intraocular procedures, as well as part of the treatment of bacterial endophthalmitis.

In otology, UNIFLUX is prescribed to adults and children aged 12 years and older for external otitis and chronic suppurative otitis media with tympanic membrane perforation. The drug is also indicated for adults during ear surgery. For children aged 1 to 11 years, the preparation is used for external otitis and acute suppurative otitis media with tympanostomy.
