About TOYFEN
TOYFEN is a medicinal product belonging to the group of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). The active substance is ibuprofen, which effectively suppresses the synthesis of prostaglandins - mediators responsible for the occurrence of pain and inflammatory processes in the body.
Composition
Each soft capsule contains 400 mg of ibuprofen. Auxiliary components include polyethylene glycol 600, potassium hydroxide, gelatin, sorbitol solution (E 420), and purified water.
Indications
The drug is intended for symptomatic relief of pain of light to moderate degree. It is used for headaches, toothaches, painful menstruation, and states accompanied by colds and fever.
Pharmacological properties
Ibuprofen has a pronounced analgesic, antipyretic, and anti-inflammatory effect. It also reversibly inhibits platelet aggregation. Note that ibuprofen may weaken the effect of low doses of acetylsalicylic acid on platelet aggregation when used concurrently.
