About SOLARGIN

SOLARGIN is a medicinal product containing arginine hydrochloride as the active substance. It is intended for the treatment of various conditions, in particular metabolic alkalosis, hyperammonemia, and atherosclerosis of the vessels of the heart and brain.

Composition

SOLARGIN contains arginine hydrochloride in an amount of 42 mg per 1 ml of solution. The excipient is water for injections.

Indications

SOLARGIN is used as part of complex therapy for the treatment of metabolic alkalosis, hyperammonemia, atherosclerosis of the vessels of the heart and brain, peripheral vascular atherosclerosis, diabetic angiopathy, arterial hypertension, chronic heart failure, hypercholesterolemia, chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases, pulmonary hypertension, fetal growth retardation, and preeclampsia.

Pharmacological properties

Arginine contained in SOLARGIN is an amino acid belonging to the class of conditionally essential amino acids. It has a versatile cellular regulatory effect and exhibits protective effects in critical states of the body. Arginine hydrochloride possesses antihypoxic, membrane-stabilizing, cytoprotective, antioxidant, antiradical, and detoxification activity.
