About OCREVUS
OCREVUS is a prescription medication used to treat two forms of multiple sclerosis (MS): relapsing forms of MS and primary progressive MS. It contains the active ingredient Ocrelizumab, a humanized monoclonal antibody that targets CD20-positive B cells.
Key Benefits & Uses
- Treatment of relapsing forms of multiple sclerosis, including clinically isolated syndrome, relapsing-remitting MS, and active secondary progressive MS
- Treatment of primary progressive MS
Active Ingredient & Action
OCREVUS works by selectively targeting and depleting CD20-positive B cells, which are believed to play a role in the pathogenesis of MS. By reducing the number of B cells in the body, OCREVUS may help to slow disease progression and reduce the frequency of relapses.
Important Notes

As with any medication, OCREVUS may cause side effects, including infusion reactions, upper respiratory tract infections, and skin reactions.
