About МІЛАГІН

МІЛАГІН is a topical antibiotic medication containing Clindamycin as its active ingredient. It is used to treat various skin and soft tissue infections, including acne, folliculitis, and impetigo.

Active Ingredient & Action

Clindamycin is a lincosamide antibiotic that works by inhibiting protein synthesis in bacteria. It binds to the 50S subunit of the bacterial ribosome, preventing the formation of the 70S initiation complex and thereby inhibiting protein synthesis. This leads to the death of the bacterial cell.
