About LONGOCAINE

Longocaine is a long-acting amide local anaesthetic for infiltration, peripheral nerve block and central neuraxial block.

Composition

Bupivacaine hydrochloride (as monohydrate); sodium chloride; water for injections.

Indications

Local anaesthesia when prolonged effect is required, including obstetric pain relief.

Pharmacological properties
