ЦИНАРИЗИН ФОРТЕ is a medicine intended for the treatment of labyrinthine disorders, cerebrovascular disorders, and peripheral vascular disorders.

Composition

The composition of ЦИНАРИЗИН ФОРТЕ contains the active substance cinnarizine, which is present at 75 mg per 1 tablet. Excipients are lactose monohydrate, montan glycol wax, ammonio methacrylate copolymer (type A), ammonio methacrylate copolymer dispersion, and calcium stearate.

Indications

ЦИНАРИЗИН ФОРТЕ is used to treat symptoms of labyrinthine disorders, including dizziness, tinnitus, nystagmus, nausea, and vomiting. It is also used to treat cerebrovascular disorders, including dizziness, tinnitus, vascular headache, irritability, impaired memory, and inability to concentrate. In addition, the medicine is used for the treatment of peripheral vascular disorders, including Raynaud's disease, acrocyanosis, intermittent claudication, trophic disorders, trophic and varicose ulcers, paresthesia, nocturnal cramps in the extremities, and a feeling of cold in the extremities.

Pharmacological properties

ЦИНАРИЗИН ФОРТЕ inhibits the contraction of vascular smooth muscle cells by blocking calcium channels. In addition to direct calcium antagonism, cinnarizine reduces the contractile effect of vasoactive substances, such as norepinephrine and serotonin, by blocking receptor-operated calcium channels. The blockade of calcium influx into cells is tissue-selective and leads to a decrease in vasoconstriction without affecting blood pressure and heart rate.
