Composition
The composition of ЦИФРАН OD contains the following excipients: sodium alginate, hypromellose, sodium bicarbonate, crosspilon, magnesium stearate, colloidal anhydrous silicon dioxide, talc, lactose monohydrate, titanium dioxide (E171), macrogol 400, indigo, shellac, iron oxide black (E172), and propylene glycol.
Indications
ЦИФРАН OD is indicated for the treatment of various infections, including respiratory tract infections, middle ear and paranasal sinus infections, eye infections, kidney and/or urinary tract infections, sexual organ infections, abdominal cavity organ infections, and skin and soft tissue infections.
Pharmacological properties
Ciprofloxacin acts by inhibiting topoisomerase II, which is essential for many processes in the DNA life cycle. This leads to a reduced ability of bacteria to replicate their genome and causes their death.
