About CETRIN
CETRIN is a medication used for the symptomatic treatment of allergic rhinitis and urticaria in adults and children aged 2 years and older.
Composition
The active substance CETRIN contains levocetirizine dihydrochloride. Excipients: sugar, methylparahydroxybenzoate, propylparahydroxybenzoate, disodium edetate, sodium citrate, anhydrous citric acid, non-crystallizing sorbitol solution, glycerin, yellow FCF, orange RS 15215 flavor, and purified water.
Indications
CETRIN is used for the treatment of allergic rhinitis and urticaria in adults and children aged 2 years and older.
Pharmacological properties
Levocetirizine belongs to the group of competitive antagonists of peripheral H1-histamine receptors. It acts by blocking H1-histamine receptors, which leads to a decrease in symptoms of allergic rhinitis and urticaria.
