About ACTONEL

ACTONEL is a prescription medication containing the active ingredient RISEDRONATE SODIUM (RISEDRONATE SODIUM HEMIPENTAHYDRATE), a bisphosphonate used in the treatment and prevention of osteoporosis in postmenopausal women and men. It is also indicated for the treatment of glucocorticoid-induced osteoporosis in men and women.

Active Ingredient & Action

ACTONEL should be taken once a week, on the same day of each week, after an overnight fast.
