Active Ingredient & Action

RISEDRONATE SODIUM (RISEDRONATE SODIUM HEMIPENTAHYDRATE) works by inhibiting osteoclast-mediated bone resorption, thereby increasing bone mass and reducing the risk of fractures. It selectively binds to hydroxyapatite in bone, inhibiting osteoclast-mediated bone resorption and leading to an increase in bone mass and a decrease in bone turnover.

Important Notes

AA-RISEDRONATE DR should be taken once a week, on the same day of each week, after an overnight fast. It is essential to take the medication with at least 200 mL of water to ensure proper dissolution and absorption. Patients with certain medical conditions, such as kidney disease, or those taking certain medications, such as antacids, should consult their doctor before taking AA-RISEDRONATE DR. It is also essential to follow the recommended dosage and duration of treatment to minimize the risk of side effects.
