AURO-TENOFOVIR is a prescription medication containing the active ingredient TENOFOVIR DISOPROXIL FUMARATE, used to treat HIV-1 infection in adults and pediatric patients 2 years of age and older. It is also used in combination with other medications to treat chronic hepatitis B infection in adults with compensated liver disease.

Active Ingredient & Action

By inhibiting this enzyme, TENOFOVIR DISOPROXIL FUMARATE prevents the virus from multiplying and reduces the viral load in the body.
