About REBIF
REBIF is a prescription medicine used to treat relapsing forms of multiple sclerosis (MS), to include clinically isolated syndrome, relapsing-remitting disease, and active secondary progressive disease, in adults.

Active Ingredient Mechanism
REBIF contains the active ingredient INTERFERON BETA-1A, a recombinant form of human interferon beta. It works by modifying the immune system's response to the disease, reducing inflammation and slowing the progression of disease activity.
REBIF is not indicated for the treatment of chronic progressive multiple sclerosis, including progressive relapsing MS, primary progressive MS, and secondary progressive MS with relapses. REBIF is not indicated for the treatment of other neurologic conditions. REBIF can cause serious side effects, including depression, anxiety, and suicidal thoughts. Patients should be closely monitored for signs of depression and anxiety. Patients should be informed of the risks of depression and anxiety and should be advised to report any symptoms to their healthcare provider.
