Active Ingredient & Action

The active components of SALONPAS GEL PATCH include salicilate de etilenoglicol, levomentol, racealfatocoferol acetate, and canfora. Salicilate de etilenoglicol provides mild anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis. Levomentol offers a cooling sensation and mild vasodilatory action, helping to reduce local swelling. Racealfatocoferol acetate, a form of vitamin E, acts as an antioxidant, protecting skin cells from oxidative stress. Canfora, a natural menthol derivative, enhances the cooling effect and provides additional analgesic relief through transient receptor potential channel modulation.
