Active Ingredient & Action

ENFORTUMAB VEDOTIN is a monoclonal antibody-drug conjugate (mAb-ADC) that targets nectin-4, a protein highly expressed in urothelial cancer cells. Upon binding to nectin-4, ENFORTUMAB VEDOTIN is internalized and releases the microtubule inhibitor monomethyl auristatin E (MMAE), which inhibits cell division and induces apoptosis in cancer cells.
